Sabrina Schmidpeter, the owner and creative head behind hof47, has transformed an historic farmhouse into an extraordinary home and in doing so has demonstrated a genuine feel for architecture, materials and details. The core renovation work combines the authentic character of the historic building with modern, stylish interior design.
But it is plain that hof47 is much more than just a renovation project for Sabrina Schmidpeter: Founding the hof47 interior and design platform enabled her to combine her passion for historic architecture, interior design and content creation with her very own home. This makes hof47 a personal statement representing her vision of a modern, individual lifestyle.
In the design process, special value was attached to high quality details, which, of course, match the overall concept perfectly. For the window decoration, the choice was made to install the W3 ripplefold curtain system from interstil with a brushed brass finish. This warm, reserved metal colour blends perfectly into the ambience of hof47 while setting an elegant accent without making itself a focal point.
The idea for the installation work was also to find the perfect solution down to the last detail. Two curtain fittings pass through a corner of the room and had to be tailored precisely to fit the available space. With the help of the interstil bending service, the rails were bent to a precise 90-degree angle. A specially inserted internal corner bracket ensures that the fittings were fastened securely and precisely in the bend.
The result is a special combination of design and function at hof47: the curtain systems blend harmoniously into the architecture while also demonstrating that bespoke solutions are possible even in challenging room situations.
hof47 demonstrates that good design is possible wherever architecture, function and aesthetics combine down to the last detail.
