ELTi B.V., a renowned interior design company based in Lexmond in the Netherlands, recently completed an impressive project at the NBC Congress Centre in nearby Nieuwegein in the Province of Utrecht. It involved the installation of curtain fittings which had to deliver both aesthetic and functional excellence. The interior designers were already well aware of the outstanding quality and extraordinary design of the traversing systems supplied by interstil Benelux.
The aim of the project was to select the most suitable ceiling fittings to satisfy both the aesthetic and functional requirements of the conference centre. The fact that the profiles can also be bent played a major role in this process.
Interstil supported ELTi with expertise to measure the complicated dimensions with painstaking accuracy so that its bending service could bend the required designs to the perfect size. Bespoke products and specially manufactured supports were also required for this project and were supplied precisely to the customer’s specifications.
The interstil bending service bent the square Cubus 2 and round Cubus 25 profiles to match the organic shapes of the building. The high quality and careful workmanship of the fittings guarantee a reliable function and long service life, even if they are used frequently.
During the installation work, special attention was given to ensuring that the traversing systems blend harmoniously into the interior environment of the NBC Congress Centre. The great precision of the installed systems will ensure that from now on the curtains can be opened and closed easily depending on the needs of the specific event. Thanks to this additional flexibility, the layout of the rooms can be adjusted quickly and efficiently to meet any requirements.
