New build in Kaiser style
A new detached house in the style of the typical architecture from the Kaiser period has been built in the historic Kreuzviertel in the centre of Münster. Architekturbüro Wessels was responsible for planning the work and skilfully continued the historic style in the interior of the building while using the very latest developments in interior design. Together with interior designer Overbeck-Leidig based in Hörstel, the planner and client selected smooth-running traversing systems from interstil for all the windows in the house.
The elegant CODEX fitting for ripplefold curtains was used throughout the ground floor. The double-track brackets for the second track were modified at the request of the customer so that a 20 mm square profile for an additional curtain could be fastened to it. For the upper floors they decided on 20 mm METRO and MONO traversing systems.
It was particularly important for the decision-makers that the finish on the fittings blended into the warm character of the rooms harmoniously. Furthermore, return bends were used on lots of windows, which placed particular demands on the individual finishing of the fittings.
