A premium curtain fitting for a premium restaurant
Its fame extends well beyond the borders of Potsdam – Villa Kellermann. Once built for the royal master of ceremonies, W. von Hardt, after extensive renovation it is now home to a premium restaurant headed by Michelin-starred chef, Tim Raue.
The architecture firm Ester Bruzkus Architekten, which was commissioned for the renovation work, created a very special interior design for this historic building. The Berlin-based firm selected the SYMPATHIE 1 30 mm round traversing system to hang the curtains with a matt brass finish to match the ambience of the venue. Special bracket supports help to manage the great weight of the very high curtains.
Special challenge for planning and installation: two large round bay windows for which the interior designer, Unique Factory Berlin, made actual-size templates to manufacture the arc segments precisely.
