At a rarefied altitude
A farmhouse in North Limburg has undergone some impressive renovation work – a project which was mainly completed by the owner. The design of the farmhouse has been converted into a house with the very latest, stylish, design by the architect, following the wishes of the owner. The customer’s wishlist included motorised curtains, not least because of the impressive room height of over four metres.
The customer selected the E3 version of the Smart.Electric system in brushed nickel finish. The convex rod met the wishes of the customer perfectly.
The system is controlled using Somfy RTS motors and provides the customer with the option of controlling the curtains individually or in groups with ease using the remote control or a phone.
Interstil designed this curtain system so that the motors remain invisible in the room. They are moved downwards and to the rear by a gear unit so that they are always behind the curtain. Nevertheless, the gliders move the curtain beyond the motor right to the end of the system.
The modernisation of this lovely farmhouse was designed by Driessen Architectuur based in Venray. The whole of the interior was designed by Heijligers-Roelofs Wonen from Afferden.
