Elegant shading solution with Smart.Electric

The project from Raumgestaltung Vespermann based in Moringen comprised the installation of a modern shading system in a detached house in Northeim. The developers and architect wanted motorised curtains for the large window fronts in the living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom to combine both comfort and aesthetics. The house originally had no exterior shading equipment such as roller shutters or louvres, which made planning even more difficult. Initially, the idea was put forward to conceal the curtain rails in the ceiling – a solution that the interior designers advised against. It would have been expensive and may also have made any subsequent repair work considerably more difficult since access to the rails would have been restricted. Instead, they recommended the innovative Smart.Electric system from interstil.

This system delivers both technical excellence and an elegant design. The owners were quickly enthused by the idea because the system constitutes a perfect symbiosis of classic style and modern technology. They chose the flat e1 rod in matt white for the job, which blends into the room design harmoniously while delivering genuine elegance to the rooms. The result is a functional, stylish solution which significantly enhances comfort while also delivering the very latest technology.
