Codex for the panoramic window
An unusual order for die.raummanufaktur from Herrsching: the job was to design the whole textile interior for a luxurious new-build chalet in Kitzbühel and then integrate it into the living space. One of the features included in the order was to provide curtains for a 36-metre panoramic window front. The special challenge this threw up was the ability to close the entire window front with no gaps and total privacy, which therefore required a full-length curtain fitting for wall mounting, which should also be connected to four inside and two outside corners using 90° mitres.
The developers ultimately decided on the purist CODEX W ripplefold curtain fitting. Finished in high quality black, the fitting harmoniously blends into the ambience of the chalet, which is predominantly made of solid timber, and corresponds perfectly with the other prevailing colours of black, anthracite and grey.
